    Porter B. Byrum Welcome Center and Admissions Office
    Check in and pick up your name tags and student packet. Then, enjoy morning refreshments while visiting with the Admissions Team and other alumni families.

  • 9:00 a.m. Opening Session

    Kulynych Auditorium
    Opening session with a welcome from the Offices of Alumni Engagement and Undergraduate Admissions, followed by Why is Mother So Dear? and College Admissions 101.

  • 10:45 a.m. Breakout Sessions
    • Student Session: Best. Essay. Ever! (Students remain in the auditorium.)
    • Parent Session: College Parenting 101, Benson 409

      Learn about the Wake Forest career community and what it means for students. Facilitated by Heidi Robinson (MA ’11), Associate Vice President for Career Education & Coaching, and Patrick Sullivan, Director of Strategic Projects.

    • Global Programs and Studies 101

      Questions about studying abroad?  Join Anna Marter, Senior Advisor, Study Abroad Programs, to learn more about Wake Forest’s Global Abroad Programs.

    • School of Business 101

      Hear an overview of the programs and current admissions process for the undergraduate School of Business from Emily Allen, Assistant Director, Undergraduate Integrative Student Services, followed by a tour of Farrell Hall.

      Reynolds Gymnasium, Meet inside the front door.
      Tour the renovated spaces and learn about the many programs and opportunities offered.

    • Not the Library You Remember! ZSR 101

      ZSR Library, Atrium
      Join Hu Womack (’90, MBA ’00), Associate Librarian, for a fun tour that highlights how the ZSR Library is not the library you remember! We will begin in ZSR Atrium and end in Special Collections & Archives. In between, we will visit the wonderful new study spaces in the ZSR Library and drop in on some of our campus partners now located in ZSR!

  • 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. Q & A Farewell Reception

    Porter B. Byrum Welcome Center, Patio
    At the conclusion of your afternoon tour, make your way back to the Welcome
    Center for an informal reception. Enjoy refreshments and another opportunity to
    ask questions one-on-one of the Admissions Team. There will be no official
    remarks or formal “ending” – therefore, depart at your leisure.
